80年代NYダウンタウンシーンを代表する前衛音楽家Arthur Russellのライブ盤が、ラッセルの死後多くの再発プロジェクトを手がけるAudika Recordsよりリリース。記念碑的アルバムWorld of Echoの形成に重要な役割を果たす85年の『Open Vocal Phrases, Where Songs Come in and Out』に加え、84年の『Sketches For World Of Echo』から2曲を抜粋。どちらもニューヨークにあるPhill NiblockのExperimental Intermedia Foundationでのパフォーマンスを収めた物。こんな感動的な音源がまだあったんですね…大推薦です！
